ブータン王国より研修に来られました！

ブータン王国よりJICA医学教育の質強化プロジェクトの一環として2025年1月に現地の医療者の皆さんが日本での研修を実施され、その中で1月21日〜23日に京大での研修に来られました。
ブータン王立医科大学 (Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan: KGUMSB)、Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH)は長年に渡り京大との絆があります。
また、当センター長の染谷が上記JICAプロジェクトにシミュレーション教育の専門家として参加しており、これまでにも複数回現地を訪問し活動を行ってきたこともあり、今回の訪日研修のうち、京大での研修を当センターがホストとなり受け入れを行いました。

研修では、当センターで行われる院内BLSセミナー、VR教材を用いた院内PALSセミナーの視察のほか、NICU、手術室・ICU、医療安全、予防医学など多岐にわたるレクチャーや見学、discussion、さらに伊佐先生への表敬訪問、高折院長への表敬訪問でも双方向に今後を見据えた議論を行うことができました。

As part of the JICA project, “Strengthening the Quality of Medical Education in the Kingdom of Bhutan”, medical professionals from Bhutan came to Japan for training in January 2025, and of this, they came to Kyoto University for training from January 21st to 23rd.
Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan(KGUMSB) and Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) have had a long-standing relationship with Kyoto University.
Furthermore, our center manager Dr. Someya has participated in the above-mentioned JICA project as a simulation education expert, and having visited the site on multiple occasions to carry out training activities, our center hosted the training at Kyoto University as part of this visit to Japan.

In addition to observing In-hospital BLS seminar and in-hospital PALS seminar using VR teaching materials held at our center, the participants also took part in a wide range of lectures and tours, including visits to the NICU, operating theater and ICU, as well as lectures on medical safety and preventive medicine. They also had the opportunity through courtesy visits to Dr. Isa and Director Takaori to engage in interactive discussions looking to the future.

We would sincerely like to thank everyone at the hospital and university who helped us out, despite their busy schedules.
We would also express our gratitude to everyone who came from Bhutan, and for the opportunity to learn together.
